LoriAnn D’Acquisto, Training Developer

LoriAnn values connection and believes the most powerful thing we can do for the families we serve is offer opportunities for them to learn collectively, share their stories, and support one another.

LoriAnn holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in English/Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. She is an adoptive parent and began working in child welfare as a recruiter and trainer in 2001 after becoming a licensed foster parent. She has been with the Coalition since 2015.

LoriAnn is inspired by the dedication of the people the Coalition serves. She develops “collective learning” course content and trainings with an emphasis on active engagement, connection, and peer support.
