Sharon Porcaro, Resource Specialist

Sharon and her husband often took advantage of the services and opportunities provided by the Coalition throughout their own adoption journey. Now, Sharon hopes to help individuals and families in their times of need by directing them to resources and support in regards to adoption and foster care. 

Sharon holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication/print journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as a bachelor’s degree from the College of Education and Professional Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Sharon joined the Coalition in April 2018 as Journey Partner and returned in February 2020 in her current position.  

Sharon serves the Coalition by supporting professionals and families via phone, email, and outreach events. She also focuses on child-specific recruitment activities to ensure Wisconsin’s children and youth find their “no matter what” families.
