Every February brings this opportunity to remember and recognize the important people and events in the history of African Americans. We at the Coalition believe that race, culture, and identity matter. We are on a continuing journey to educate ourselves and challenge beliefs and biases so that we can, in turn, support families and caregivers.
This week, we’d like to highlight a number of the resources available to you from the Coalition about this critical topic. While there is a greater focus on raising awareness of the contributions of African Americans during February, we encourage you to continue learning, growing, and celebrating all year round.
